Yes we are fully registered and licensed. QBCC license no: 730645

What is GreenSmart?
GreenSmart is a practical implementation initiative established by the Housing Industry Association to develop and promote technologies, design principles and practices that not only improve energy efficiency within the home but encourage sustainability in design and construction.

In conjunction with our GreenSmart accreditation and practices, Imperial Homes incorporate:

  • environmentally friendly and efficient designs to save energy and water
  • materials that reduce environmental impacts
  • natural cross-flow ventilation and insulation to be naturally climate controlled: cooler in summer and warmer in winter
  • innovative design features enabling you to capture and retain rainwater for use in your new home.
  • shading, creating indoor/outdoor spaces perfect for south-east Queensland’s perfect climate

How many homes do you build a year?
Approx 10 to 12. This amount of homes is large enough to sustain a good track record. At the same time we are able to personally supervise each of our homes and liaise directly with the home owner.

How long does it take to complete a house?
Single storey generally take 5 to 6 months. Double storey homes take approximately 8 to 10 months. These are estimated timeframes and may vary according to the client’s changing needs.

Do you have your preferred architects or can the customer use their own?
We are happy to work with our client’s preferred architects. However, we have several reliable architects that we use on a regular basis.

Do you build project homes?
No, we do not build project homes. Each home we build is to the individual design specification of each client. However, we can help you design your own home and sit down with you to help with ideas.

What type of slab do you use?
Conventional slab and footings. Engineer designed.
